It did not work for me. The file I have a problem with is on my mp3 player. I can go into it with explorer but your package can't see it as a drive.

i was having one DVD cd with softwares and i wanted to make copy of that DVD but i cant able to remove attributes from that DVD i also copied it to my hard disk but when i try to clear read only it didnt worked what to do can u help me

I am very sorry to say that this product did not work for me, however :

The Attr command line tool did not help either.

If you think this tool is doing stuff "under the bonnet" which you could not do any other way - you'll be dissapointed.

BUT if you want a tool that will do what attr does, but without the hassle of bringing up a command prompt or looking up the command flags - then this tool is probably fine.

Any pecieved bugs in this software are MORE LIKELY to be the fact that windows read-only flag in the folder context is actually meaningless, and a well know "bug" that is "working as intended" according to microsoft.

It does not work on Windows Vista 32 !!!!
When I click on .exe nothing happens..

Too bad because I have still my "Read only" problem !!!

The product works pretty good. I didn't like it when it skips hidden or system files however. I also wish the display area cleared each time you tell it to clear. The product seems to be error free. The only other negative aspect was that it did not automatically import the folder name into the product when you right click a folder and select to clear the read-only attribute.

Does not function as advertised

After I ran it several times the Read Only returned in the Properties dialog box! I have 3 computers with same problem. Iran it on all 3 computers to no avail. Each computer has a different OS, which are:
Win 2000 Pro, Win XP Home and Win XP Pro. The program also interfered with my Network, which I am still trying to restore!

Delete read only files.

The program did not changed the read only attribute of the files. Did not succeded. Anyway thanks.
